There have been a group of 6 villages surrounded by a forest which continues for hundreds of hectares. These villages have seen the success of Luzophuhu village and the villagers in Chizami have been eager to replicate this style of conservation. The people of Chizami also started a committee to help with the conservation of the surrounding forest. The villagers have not received the support of people from the neighbouring villages and this has made it difficult to start conservation attempts. They have tried to encourage the other villages to help with conservation, but unity seems to be the main problem here.
