Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs)

As recognised in CBD's Strategic Action Plan (2011-2020) and Kunming-Montreal Global Biodviersity Framework, there exist many areas that outside the protected areas network that contribute to the in-situ conservation. This document elaborates on OECM as a concept in addition to identification and monitoring of these areas.
